Rev. Jiles was born on January 9 to Oscar and Anna  Jiles of Braithwaite, Louisiana.  

Rev. Jiles is the proud pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Dalcour, Louisiana.  He is faithful to God’s calling on his life and continues to preach, teach, baptize, marry, counsel, and do the things commanded by God.  Through his preaching and teaching many accepted Christ as their personal Savior.

Rev. Jiles attended and graduated from Phoenix High School in Phoenix, Louisiana on May, 1979.  With a strong desire to learn more of Almighty God, Rev. Jiles enrolled in Union Baptist Theological Seminary of New Orleans, Louisiana and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology in 1998.  He continued his studies at Christian Bible College of Louisiana where received his Master’s Degree in 2010.  He received his Doctorate degree from Slidell Baptist Seminary on June 23, 2015.  Today, he serves as a professor at Christian Minister’s Missionary Baptist Association School of Biblical Studies.

Rev. Jiles is married to the former Pamela Williams.  He is the father of Michael Jr., Marlon, and Matthew.  He is the proud grandfather of Michael III, Maci Renee’, Matthew, Jr. and Marlee Raye Jiles and father-in-law of Trenee’, Lani and Alexis.  Rev. Jiles is the son-in-law of the late Herbert Williams, Jr. and Irma Cross Williams of Phoenix, Louisiana. 

He is the past- President of Christian Ministers Missionary Baptist Association and a member of Louisiana Home and Foreign Mission State Convention.

Rev. Jiles gives all glory and honor to Almighty God.  He is a fervent believer if he is faithful to God, God will be faithful to him.  He realizes because Jesus lives he can face tomorrow.
